About the Team
This is an exciting time to be joining the team Marketing works hand in hand with the business development team to deliver business growth. Our plans for thought leadership and content marketing will be pivotal to Solidatus’ success. We are a close-knitgroup who enjoys each other’s company and work collaboratively, not only with each other, but also with all teams across the business.
The Role
The sales enablement manager leads our initiative to educate and support our sales and customer facing teams through the production and oversight of messaging, content and collateral; the training of new and existing team members; the onboarding of new saleshires; and the ongoing delivery of effective communications with our target market to maximise sales success.
With previous experience of sales enablement in a technical environment, they will work with our most experienced sales leads, the data office, the marketing team and others, to create internal material on how to sell Solidatus. They will also support thecreation of external material for strategic sales meetings as well as maintaining a slide library comprising material for meetings and event presentations.
The sales enablement lead will work successfully with a range of stakeholders to create this material including the leadership team and other experts on our solutions. Material needs to be both generic and tailored for use cases and sectors.
Examples of the material the sales enablement manager will deliver include:
Internal
- Material to educate on how to sell
- Battle cards to use in specific sales scenarios and against competitors
- Useful phrases and 'how to describe’ scripts
External
- The Solidatus slide library - a 'pick list’ of slides that can provide the right combination of material for the majority of meetings
- Appropriate diagrams or other illustrations explaining solutions
- PowerPoints for strategic sales meetings and speaking at events
- Model answers for RFPs
- What’s new material for version upgrades
The body of work should be maintained and curated for easy access. This is likely to be on the Solidatus intranet. The material should be constantly monitored to see how it’s resonating and how it can be enhanced. They should also monitor uptake and useof the material and discuss with sales management whether the sales team is making good/appropriate use of the material and adjust/reinforce/manage as necessary.
Other responsibilities include:
- Supporting product enhancements or launches by helping the team to fully understand and sell them
- Learning programs for sales
- Helping oversee/manage sales off site sessions
- Helping maintain the sales area of the intranet
