**Scope of the role**:
Our client based in Salisbury are hiring for a Laboratory Administrator to support the smooth running of their specialist development lab. This is an integral hire which will see you providing a key service to the scientists and operational staff.

**Core role requirements**:

- Maintain and update the Quality Management System (ISO 13485)
- Ensure laboratory records are kept up-to-date and in accordance with regulations for audit and inspection processes
- Calibrating lab equipment and tools, flagging any functionality issues and arranging contractors to repair any faults
- Scanning and filing of batch and lab records
- Handling the goods in and goods out process
- Management of the stock room - including liaising with the finance for the purpose of ordering resources and products
- Arranging postal and courier dispatches
- Completion of safety documentation such as laboratory waste disposal forms
- Booking in of lab visitors, maintenance and service engineers as required

**Your background**:

- A proven background in an administrative capacity
- Strong command of MS Office and CRM systems, in addition to having worked within a business operating to accredited regulations such as ISO 13485
- It would be ideal to come from a laboratory or science background, although not essential
- An appreciation for the "bigger picture" and your role in facilitating the smooth running of a busy team of scientists
- Excellent communication skills, able to prioritise and plan effectively and support multiple staff and projects at any one time
- Able to travel to a site in Salisbury which is not on a public transport route
