**Summary**:
You will be working in the Strategy, Portfolio and Capability (SPC) Division supporting the delivery and management of the Science & Technology (S&T) Portfolio. You will be part of a high performing and agile team. This role will provide insight into S&T Portfolio Management, to ensure Dstl delivers the Science & Technology effectively and efficiently. The applicant will work across SPC, with Divisions and Functions, as well as support the team working with DST, Customers and the Dstl Executive.

The S&T Portfolio Delivery Co-ordinator supports the SPC S&T Portfolio Delivery Team in producing and delivering the MI and associated insight and intelligence to aid the S&T Portfolio achieve maximum impact and benefit. Specifically this role is responsible for activities that support the delivery of Dstl’s S&T Portfolio in accordance with the S&T Delivery Plan.

You will be responsible for maintaining the Portfolio datasets, identifying potential risks and issues, providing initial delivery performance and financial analysis, co-ordinating with Project Delivery Community leading on the requirements scheduling and delivery of the Portfolio Delivery Team Assurance Plan, mitigating risks of Non-Delivery and/or treatment plan.

You will also act as co-ordinator with the Customer Engagement Team on Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) identifying trends with Customer returns, and co-ordinate tasks with the Business Analysts which sit within Delivery Divisions, ensuring their requirements are captured.

You would be expected to lead on business improvement or Portfolio tasks and communicate with the relevant Stakeholders.

**Job description**:
**In this role you will**:

- Work with the S&T Portfolio Delivery Principals and S&T Portfolio Delivery Leader to ensure appropriate business analysis is conducted to support Requirements Management, Portfolio Architecture and Delivery Management. Investigation of issues or to identify underlying trends
- Work with Commercial colleagues, and the Division Procurement Representatives community within Delivery Divisions to ensure appropriate business analysis is conducted to support the external element of the S&T Portfolio. Focusing on the acquisition system you will analyse performance against baseline, highlight areas for improvement or targeted intervention. Investigation of issues or identify difficult underlying trends.
- Support delivery of the S&T Portfolio plan in conjunction with the S&T Portfolio Delivery Principals
- Support the Division RAID register lead through identifying risks and assumptions, issues and dependencies impacting Dstl’s Portfolio
- Support the Delivery of Strategic Imperative actions owned by the Head S&T Portfolio Delivery
- Monitor Programme level customer satisfaction across the Portfolio to identify underlying issues or best practice
- Co-ordinate technical reviews and quality assurance as required of the analysis generated within the Portfolio Office and Accounts area
- Contribute to high level benefits realisation to enable the Portfolio Office to deliver against strategic objectives
- Liaise across Portfolio Office and Divisions to support Business Performance Reporting
- Liaise with DST Analysts to support delivery of the S&T Portfolio
- Build effective relationships with the S&T Delivery Community across Dstl, to encourage “one Dstl team” and a broad community of analysts that works effectively together; and to encourage “one S&T Portfolio” when working with DST colleagues.
