Property Assistant

**Job description**
This is a position working three days per week 9 am to 5pm. You will be expected to work approx every 6th Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm on a rota basis.
This position requires good negotiation skills, composure, and the ability to deal with different standards of living.
You will be responsible for routine property inspections and checking Tenants into a property. The purpose of routine inspections is to ensure the Tenants are complying with their Tenancy Agreement. If at these inspections it transpires the Tenants are not keeping the property in good order, you will be required to advise them of these issues and to book an appointment to revisit them at a later date, to ensure these problems have been resolved.
At the inspection, a Tenant may inform you of problems which need attending to at the property and you will need to liaise with the Landlord for authorisation to carry out any necessary repairs that the Tenant may have requested. If these repairs or improvements are authorised, you will speak to Contractors to obtain quotes to have the work carried out.
You will also be required to check Tenants into a property.
Full clean driving license and use of your own vehicle insured for business use is a necessity. A mileage allowance of 45p will be paid for business miles.
