This is an exciting opportunity to join this UK wide, people focused retailer to Business Partner with the Senior Leadership team and lead a team of HRBP’s in the field and head office.
The role will support the HRD with business partnering key stakeholders and will also contribute to the design of the people strategy across the business. You will also lead the people change agenda and lead on people projects.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Support the HR Director in the development and implementation of the HR strategic plan through a business partnering model.
- Ensure delivery of the business strategy and operational plans to improve organisational capability and business performance.
- Business partner, coach and influence the relevant stakeholders in the delivery of business strategy
- Create strategic business partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure that people considerations have been appropriately embedded in business strategy, decisions, and operational activities.
- Drive the organisational development and effectiveness of the structure and operating model, working with senior stakeholders to ensure it meets the strategic plan and growth targets.
- Oversee the project management of the people implications for major transformational programmes, ensuring the HR Business Partners execute the accurate planning and organisation.
- Carry out external benchmarking to establish good practice to continuously improve, progress, or transform the approach to HR Business Partnering
- Effectively influence, collaborate, and integrate all HR business partner activities across operations and central functions to ensure common and consistent processes, standards, and efficiencies throughout the business.
- Work collaboratively with all specialist HR functions to influence and shape within the HR Strategic plan.
- Ensure that legal, commercial and risks to brand are managed and minimised collaboration with the relevant members of the HR Team.

**Essential Skills**
- Experienced influencer who can drive through commercial change.
- Strategic commercial thinker with the proven ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally across all areas of an organisation to deliver business objectives.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness with the ability to proactively identify key issues and risks.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with the agility to manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment, has gravitas and can build and maintain relationships at all levels within the business.
- Passionate, self-motivated, innovative, resourceful and a challenger and communicator leading by example

**Qualifications and Experience**
- CIPD accredited or have equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive experience of HR Business Partnering at a senior level
- Experience of leading business partnering teams in a large multi-site organisation ideally in the Retail sector.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of HR professionals and specialists.
- Experienced in managing suppliers, external relationships, and a budget.
- Experience of managing complex HR Projects around organisational design and organisational effectiveness
- Proven experience working in a complex changing environment and experienced at managing cross-functional change projects with strong project management skills and problem solving
