**The role**

We are looking for a Business Support & Events Executive to play an integral role in the delivery of high-level support during the next phase of our growth. Working closely with the Co-CEOs and other internal stakeholders, you will assist company operations and provide functional support, driving efficiency within the team. You will also work on our events activities, managing the end-to-end process and facilitating our attendance at events.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with various stakeholders and be involved in multiple strands across the business and offers the opportunity for significant learning and professional development.

**What you will do**:

- Office and facilities management to ensure the smooth running of the office, whilst working closely with stakeholders such as building management and suppliers
- Manage company bookings: such as organising couriers, deliveries, and booking staff travel and accommodation arrangements
- Be the first point of contact for any visitors to the office, including arranging refreshments, and supporting internal stakeholders with any guests
- Functional support: diary management and meeting room management
- Operational support: such as purchasing office supplies and equipment, and supporting with H&S requirements in the office
- Organise and execute the end-to-end process of virtual and in person events of various sizes and formats, within agreed schedules, scopes and budgets
- Effectively liaise with key stakeholders, speakers and event organisers, ensuring objectives and requirements are clearly agreed and communicated
- Source suitable components that create a successful event, including materials, suppliers, video platforms, collateral and venues
- Deliver event feedback to relevant stakeholders
- Additional general administrative and operational duties where necessary

**What we are looking for**:

- An ambitious self-starter, with the desire to learn and grow in an exciting industry
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in an events/office management role, or similar
- Experience in executing events in various formats and managing an events calendar
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, and a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and solid writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Excellent IT skills (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn Recruiter), with the ability to grasp a variety of platforms and systems quickly and effectively
