The Membership Engagement Team are the leads on the insight and evaluation of membership activities, managing and developing the College’s suite of membership benefits including overseeing the diploma and ceremonial events processes as well as broader membership engagement activities.

The team have oversight of research and analysis activities, identifying trends and looking to our competitors to inform membership growth campaigns and other marketing activities.

The Membership Engagement Events Lead is a new fixed term role that has been created in response to growing opportunities to engage with our members through face-to-face networking events as well as in expanding our core diploma ceremony offer, particularly through ceremonies overseas and in different venues around the UK.

This role would suit an individual with experience of managing a diverse portfolio of events in the UK and overseas and who is excited about working collaboratively with colleagues and directly with members to deliver high quality experiences from booking to on-the-day to evaluating success.

With an interest in understanding the membership the College, you will have experience of developing and delivery events and activities that appeal to the different membership levels and be able to work with our systems to identify target audiences and deliver activities that add value.

With experience of leading a team, you will have strong communication skills and be capable of monitoring and evaluating the success of membership engagement campaigns. Managing a team with a busy portfolio of activities and diploma ceremonies, you will be exceptionally well organised with the ability to prioritise multiple, and sometimes conflicting priorities, with mínimal supervision working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve shared goals.

With a high level of professionalism and diplomacy, you will be confident in adapting your communication style to engage with a variety of stakeholders from Members and Fellows, the President, College Council and Directors, as well as third party suppliers

**About the Role**:
The Membership Team encompasses two key strands of activity: membership onboarding and customer service (Membership Services), and retention and recognition activities including membership benefits and ceremonial events (Membership Engagement).
