**What’s the role?**

As an Administrative Assistant you’ll be supporting the Operations Administrator / EA by providing general administration support. You’ll be supporting the Millboard Ryton site management, ensuring administrative tasks are completed to a high standard in a timely manner, and also acting as a point of contact in the absence of the Operations Administrator / EA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update administrative materials and resources
- Assist with drafting documents, preparing reports
- Collate, prepare, scan, organise and store information in paper and digital form
- Support management team
- Sort and distribute post
- Data entry
- Note taking
- Place purchase orders, monitor lead times
- Liaise with suppliers
- Other general administration duties as may be required
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of administrative processes
- Undertake appropriate personal and professional development activities in order to deliver best practice

**Your Background and Experience**
- Minimum 1 year administration experience or working in an office environment
- Experience of providing effective clerical and administrative support
- Advanced knowledge, understanding and competence using Microsoft office skills
- Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of SAP, ClickUp would be a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a ‘can do’ approach
- Diplomatic and reliable
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
