An exciting opportunity to join a progressive wealth management business including financial advisers, asset management and platform operations. The group has a presence throughout the UK and as a result of continued growth, they are now looking for a Platform Operations Administrator to join their team.

This role will involve working closely with colleagues within Platform Operations and in the wider business to ensure all platforms operate smoothly. This will involve regular tasks to monitor activity, check client records and escalate any exceptions as they arise. Additionally, the role will involve first-line support for colleagues using the platform to transact business for clients.

Based in Darlington, this role offers Hybrid working and a salary of up to £24,000 plus the opportunity for an annual bonus.

**The Role**:

- Monitor and maintain on-boarding checks for clients onto our platforms
- Ensure trading and cash transaction requests are implemented in a timely manner and followed up with as needed
- Provide support to colleagues illustrating and transacting business on our platforms
- Maintain procedures and other related documents for the platform
- Completing administrative tasks as required for ad-hoc projects which may include contributing to continual progress, including general administration tasks, such as sending general letters, data entry, updating systems, scanning etc
- Receiving incoming calls from and making outgoing calls to internal staff, third-party providers and clients
- To assist with covering your team members’ workload during absence/holiday
- To perform any other reasonable task at the discretion of the management

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Effective communication skills both verbally and written in a manner appropriate to the intended audience
- Able to demonstrate exceptional organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new systems and processes
- Experience of working within defined service standards and procedures
- Financial Services experience
- A Level / equivalent
- Previous experience in a financial services administration or general administration-based role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
