A position has been created within this stable well-established business, in addition to ongoing success they have been able to significantly increase their product portfolio & scope therefore are looking to expand the team to capitalise on this.Representingnationally recognised brands with market leading products, sold via an extensive customer network. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to build and manager their own pipeline.
**Requirements**:
- Effectively developing, maintaining & closing their own pipeline
- Pro-actively self-generate new business opportunities (cold calling) and manage to a successful sales outcome, stockpiling for future if not in the sales window initially
- Effectively follow up leads supplied by the business
- Utilise rapport to build strong & lasting customer relationships
- Deliver market leading customer service
- Upsell and cross sell services and product portfolio
- Negotiate the terms of agreement and close sales
- Utilise the inhouse systems to accurately and effectively process sales in a compliant manner
**Personal Specification**:
- Self-motivation and complete sales presentation skills are essential requirements
- All the usual basic IT skills
- 3 years + experience in a sales role, preferably in new business hunting
- Demonstrable track record of excelling in B2B sales
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and listening skills
- Able to communicate at all corporate levels
- Team player, whilst also showing lone wolf hunger
- Ability to display and provide examples of skills in negotiation, communication, active listening, and a sound commercial acumen.
- Previous mobile telecoms / fixed line / IT sales experience would advantageous but not essential
