Our client is a well-established business based in St. Asaph and they have a new opportunity for a temporary cover for a HR Co-ordinator.

**About the role**

This varied role will also provide support to the HR team on strategic project delivery as well as standard transactional work. You will deliver basic employee help and guidance on policies and processes. The role will include administration duties, including updating databases, creating correspondence, collating data and preparing reports, as well as minute-taking and supporting HR events.

The HR Coordinator will be a team player who has strong attention to detail and organisation skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. You will be passionate about getting to know our people and organisation, and ready to build relationships at all levels.

You will have the opportunity to develop your HR skills and knowledge, through good exposure to employee relations issues and HR Generalist practices.

**Main duties**:

- Oversee day-to-day recruitment activities for the company’s workforce, ensuring a seamless process from initial contact to offer of employment.
- Ensure all vacancies are advertised as required; across various job boards and recruitment media channels, ensuring the best possible exposure
- Support Hiring Managers to understand recruitment processes, policies, and best practice
- Be the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries, managing the inbox effectively and ensuring a proactive and high touch service
- Assist with the onboarding process including contract generation and pre-employment checks, referring areas of concern to HR colleagues or manager.
- To be a visible and approachable support service to both managers and employees
- Contribute to the development and successful delivery of recruitment and ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives
- Onboarding compliance and documentation management
- Assist managers with performance management procedures, including induction and probation reviews
- Respond to internal and external HR enquiries providing relevant assistance and redirecting to a HR team member where appropriate
- Maintain HRIS systems data entry, producing reports and document management
- Provide general administrative support for routine tasks and initiatives
- Build relationships with employees, stakeholders and vendors, providing timely professional services
- Proactively support the HR team to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved within appointed deadlines, sharing best practice and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collate, monitor and process data, producing reports on general HR activity, including absence, performance, engagement and wellbeing
- Assist in HR ad-hoc projects
- Maintain a professional approach and positive brand image
- Liaise with other departments
- Engage in formal processes as and when required, undertaking investigatory interviews, obtaining information, taking meeting minutes.

**CRITERIA**

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Sound IT skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook etc)
- Basic HR knowledge
- Proficient in the use of HR systems and applicant tracking systems
- Familiarity with social media recruiting
- Handling multi-task assignments ensuring quality and accuracy and confidentiality is maintained
- Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Proactive approach, - demonstrating flexibility, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks

**Qualifications**
- CIPD Level 3 qualified, or currently working towards this/ professional equivalent

**Experience**
- Experience as a HR coordinator or relevant HR administrative position
- Strong recruitment/HR administration experience with sound knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes
- Experience with HR databases and HRMS systems
- Experience in working within the constraints of a confidential environment
- Data collation and interpretation for report production

Hours of work are Monday to Friday.
