**The Opportunity**

Responsible for providing professional generalist HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees, throughout the employee life cycle on a full range of HR employee relations activities.

Responsible for end-to-end recruitment process.

**What you’ll be doing**

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Employee relations
- Carry out investigatory meetings as and when required
- Investigate and carry out complex disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Proactive identification and management of employee conflict
- Provide coaching support to line managers as required

Absence
- Monitor sick leave, identify those with absence levels which are a concern and take action with employees following the absence management policy
- Ensure effective return to work interviews are taking place
- Arrange occupational health referrals for employees who are returning from long term sickness absence and co-ordinate an appropriate phased return with the department manager / team leader
- Identify opportunities to make improvements to absence levels

Recruitment
- Utilise appropriate means for advertising vacancies within budgetary restraints
- Co-ordinate and schedule interviews
- Identify other methods of testing as appropriate to improve the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with line managers, external recruitment agencies to ensure a professional business recruitment service
- Identify and implement strategies to ensure a knowledgeable understanding of the business
- Ensure a good understanding of the recruitment strategy for the business
- Ensure all job descriptions and personal specifications are accurate and consistent with company format during, and post recruitment
- Utilise psychometric testing and profiles to support recruitment decisions
- Evaluate recruitment practices, proactively improving the recruitment experience
- Coaching Line Managers on interviewing techniques
- Job shadowing - to enhance understanding of specific role demands
- Issue offer letters and contracts of employment

Misc
- Support the people admin process as required
- To contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures
- Produce monthly People KPI reporting and propose action planning
- Support school activities that drive awareness of our business and industry
- Manage / coordinate work experience placements
- Opportunity to Represent Treatt as an Enterprise Advisor
- Responsibility for supporting the maternity process from employee notification, commencement of leave and the return process
- Providing information and advice on paternity leave

**What we’re looking for**
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent or relevant experience
- Proven work experience as a People/HR Advisor
- Highly proficient in MSOffice
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation
