Role Purpose
Reporting into our UK HR Director, this job plays a key role in defining and delivering our people strategy and providing operational support to the business.
The role primarily supports selected UK based lines of business and will work closely with Global centres of HR excellence to provide effective solutions the business.
What this job involves
- Serve as the primary HR contact for business line leadership team working to implement the talent strategy and support development of a people agenda that drives business outcomes
- Work with managers to effectively diagnose organizational issues and partner to solve them (staffing levels, capability, etc.).
- Operate as an objective and trusted advisor; provide appropriate coaching to elevate the leadership team collectively and individually.
- Partner closely with the business to drive the acquisition, development, engagement, recognition and productivity of the workforce.
- Work with HR Centres of Excellence (Reward, Talent, Operations) to drive the execution of people priorities. This includes, but is not limited to, workforce planning, annual goal setting, performance management, talent review, succession planning and compensation planning.
- Work as part of the UKHR HR Leadership Team.
- Develop and promote as appropriate mobility, social inclusion, equality and diversity initiatives within the business line.
- To act as a role model for our values and behaviours.
- Build strong relationships, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence
- Communicate clearly and persuasively; upholds convictions on what’s right for our employees, balanced with a commercial view of what’s right for the organization
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen that links the HR strategy to the business strategy and commercial aspects
- Set clear and challenging goals; tenacious and accountable in driving results
- Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations
- Derive insights from data and analytics to drive decisions and support the overall business strategy
- Lead through influence and have experience managing in a matrix organization

**Experience Requirements**:

- 5 to 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience
