People andCulture Partner

The People& Culture Partner reports directly to the Chief PeopleOfficer playing a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing theorganisations People activities. With a focus on fostering apositive work environment the People & Culture Partnercollaborates with various departments to provide day to day supportfor all areas of People Operations including on/offboardingemployee relations employment law pay and benefits and policymanagement.

The People & Culture Partnerinfluences the organisations performance continuously optimizingkey People processes and policies training managers on how to usethem suggesting technology improvements and therefore contributingto efficient operations employee satisfaction and overall businessperformance.

Objectives& Responsibilities:

Rovco is anexciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to changeas we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities willinclude:

EmployeeEngagement and Relations

  • Be 1st point of contact own andtriage all People related queries. Provide advice and guidance tomanagers and employees on company ways of working HR policiesprocedures and grievance/issue resolution.
  • Own end to end employee relations cases ensuring correctprocesses are followed and outcomes communicated. Be theinvestigating officer where appropriate.
  • Mediate in employee disputes and conflicts workingtowards fair and amicable resolutions.

EmployeeLifecycle:

  • Owns theon and off boarding process ensuring a seamless employee andcontractor experience that is clear robust and maintains integrityof compliancebased requirements.
  • Main pointof contact for third party EoR and PEO partners proactivelyresolving issues.

Culture:

  • Drive the companys D&I strategy/objectiveschampioning initiatives to attract & retain diverse talentand create a workplace where people bring their whole selves towork.
  • Create a positivework culture through initiatives that promote the company valuesenhancing employee morale and engagement.
  • Creates and drivesspecific projects/activities in line with our engagement surveyresults

PerformanceManagement:

  • Work withline mangers to help manage the probation process and coach onperformance management
  • Drive the TalkingPerformance Framework processes by guiding managers on settingobjectives conducting Performance Checkins and the 6 monthly BigPicture Conversations. Drive improvements to this process and theuse of the data it provides.
  • Support bothmanagers and employees in navigating performance challenges byaddressing issues and implementing targeted performance improvementplans escalating according to company policy asappropriate

Complianceand Policies

  • Stayupdated on employment laws and regulations to ensure theorganisations HR practices are in line with legal requirements andbest practice.
  • Develop and maintain HRpolicies and procedures communicating changes and updates to theworkforce and ensuring these are stored according to documentmanagement processes.
  • Own the employeeHandbook ensuring accurate uptodate information is maintained atall times.

TalentManagement

  • Provideopportunities for employees to grow within the company throughorganising mentorship leadership development and continuouslearning opportunities.
  • Identify and preparehighpotential employees for future leadership roles through talentmapping.
  • Identify training needs andcollaborate with managers to create tailored development plans.

Data Analysis andReporting

  • Responsiblefor ensuring HR records and databases are accurate ensuring dataintegrity and confidentiality.
  • Generateregular HR reports and metrics for management review anddecisionmaking including ensuring monthly payroll is correct.
  • Generate regular reports and provide insightsto management identifying trends challenges and opportunities forimprovement.

  • Bachelorsdegree in HR Business Administration or a related field (orequivalent experience); CIPD Level 5 isdesirable.
  • Strongexperience as a generalist People/HR role or People Partner (orequivalent) in a fastgrowing forwardthinking business withsatellite offices in Europe or the USA. Preferably in either a techor renewable energy business.
  • Demonstratedability in partnering with stakeholders across the businessproviding accurate timely advice & support on peoplerelatedissues
  • A dynamic interpersonal style capableof demonstrating empathy and an ability to relate to diverseindividuals
  • Very organized with a highattention to detail to effectively and accurately keep track ofmultiple tasks priorities and queries
  • Soundworking knowledge of employment law regulations and bestpractice
  • Strong analytical and criticalthinking abilities to resolve a diverse range of HRissues.
  • High level of professionalism integrityand confidentiality in handling sensitiveinformation.
