**Salary**: Up to £40,000 DOE

**Key Objectives of the Role**

Our People Team is an integral part of ensuring all of our Yugoers, present and future are looked after. You will be responsible for delivering timely and effective operational and commercial advice to the business and supporting the People Partner in ensuring that the short, medium and long-term objectives of the People function are achieved.

This role will be responsible for assisting the People team with the delivery of a full range of people related services designed to build credibility and confidence with stakeholders and employees alike. To work in line with Company policies, whilst limiting risks to the business. Reporting to the People Partner, you will gain the necessary exposure to manage People projects and initiatives to support the Company’s growth and business plan.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **
Employee Relations**
- To support internal and external transfers of people from or to the business in line with TUPE legislation
- To assist structural/strategic change programs to support the business in their growth as required.
- To manage short and long-term attendance matters, including occupational health referrals and capability issues in line with the Equality Act
- To assist in managing performance within the business, through drafting reporting metrics and People analytics.
- To lead on employee relations matters within the business.
- To support and develop Line managers of all levels to fairly manage their ER challenges. Creating engaging ER learning burst for the Line team.
- To give high support and high challenge on all people matters.
- ** Reward**
- To promote employee engagement within the business, by meeting with line managers and employees on a regular basis
- To lead on employee engagement surveys and analysis of the results
- To ensure that the Company benefits portfolio remains competitive and is administered fairly
- To ensure that we develop a suite of robust reward and recognition initiatives within the region, that motivate and support our people.
- To assist the team with introducing a range of benefit initiatives that will be embraced by our employees.
- ** Legal**
- To assist in the writing for new policies and regular updating of new policies.
- To review and write contracts as required
- Involvement in the issuing of addendums and contracts wherever required.
- Supporting in operational contractual agreements.
- Represent People team in H&S matters.
- ** General**
- To assist with payroll processes by running monthly overtime reporting within the business, ensuring that all UK employees are paid on time.
- To act as an ambassador to the business, by promoting a positive culture
- To ensure that People & Culture communications are sent out in a timely manner, reflecting updated or shared new information.
- To prepare timely and accurate management reporting for analysis by the People Partner
- To ensure that Company policies and procedures reflect the Company culture, support the Company’s growth and are in line with legislative changes and best practice
- To build effective relationships with external stakeholders e.g. employment agencies, payroll providers, benefits providers etc.
- To undertake ad hoc People and Culture projects to support the business
- To business partner with Line Managers, providing excellent support and identifying potential issues ahead of time

To manage and maintain personal and sensitive information whilst complying with GDPR and to highlight any concerns or potential breaches to the People Partner and the Data Controller.

**Experience and Knowledge**

**Essential**:

- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Experience of providing Generalist HR support within a multi-site environment, large matrix organization.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, and employment legislation
- At least 6 years’ experience in a generalist or ER specialist role.
- Essential TUPE experience
- Desire to keep abreast of legislative changes and to ensure that policies and procedures reflect these
