The Spotted Dog has transformed A total transformation, with an extending new build housing a large open plan kitchen with an open fire ROBATA GRILL, plus a stunning private events space with own bar & outdoor area, catering for up to 58 seated or 75+ standing.

Expect fresh seasonal produce, high class pub grub comforts alongside refined plates for the restaurant, many coming from the Robata Grill, cracking wine list, extensive spirits, and local ales.

With a new interior sympathetically designed showcasing original features, The Spotted Dog offers a superb bar space for eating and drinking flowing into the restaurant area and semi-private room. Alongside the main bar sits a separate private function area seating 55 covers.

Due to the instant success of the Spotted Dog and the demand for the hiring of the events space, a vacancy has arisen for an Events/Admin Co-ordinator to join our office team.

As the Events/Admin Coordinator on a day-to-day basis your tasks may include:

- Attending face to face appointments with prospective and existing customers to plan their special events.
- Making reservations
- Planning events and carrying out show arounds
- Generating function sheets.
- Processing venue reports
- Preparing food pre orders and processing deposits.
- Preparing daily / weekly reports.
- Processing weekly wages alongside the account’s administrator

What we are looking for:

- Similar experience gained within an Events role, running and leading on a programme of events.
- Effective planning and organisation, able to document and keep a clear track of all programmes, expenses, plans etc.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical and reporting skills.
- Able to work with independence within your role, but as part of a wider team.
- Able to multi-task and manage a varied workload.
- A tenacious individual, hard-working and flexible to support within a small team, passionate and enthusiastic about the work you do.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week over 5 days). This could be a fantastic role for someone who has previously worked events front of house but would like to learn the planning side of events but is open to anyone with previous hospitality experience or someone who has previous events planning experience that would like to develop their experience further.

Hours per week will vary from 10-6, 9-5 and 12-8pm but a fixed working pattern could be agreed but working on weekends when the events are held will be a requirement.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
