**About Us**
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Events Co-ordinator to join Team Rockliffe
**The Role**
The main responsibilities of the Events Co-ordinator role will be (but not limited to):
- Take enquiries for weddings, conferences and private dining in a professional and courteous manner and enters client details on to the enquiry form
- Process enquiries into the system and inputs information onto the Event report
- Conduct show rounds of the hotel, golf and Spa in line with company standard
- Send out proposals to prospective clients in a timely manner to confirm enquiry details
- Use the chase system on a daily basis to convert business while being flexible to the individual guest requirements
- Ensure accurate contracts are sent out to clients within 24 hours of receipt of a written booking confirmation
- Liaise with guests on a regular basis to ensure all requirements and information is correct and up to date
- Prepare individual function sheets and communicates to all relevant departments
- Make follow up calls to clients after the event to gain feedback, encourage further business opportunities and to maximise the guest experience
- Attend and assists with Exhibition Events/Special Projects
- Is aware of the services and facilities offered by competitor hotels locally and nationally in order to promote Rockliffe Hall to its full potential
- Build working relationships with any company or organiser you come into contact with to ensure rapport and confidence is instilled with the client and guarantee repeat business.
