**The post holder will**: Carry out assessments of new patients referred to the service. Provide medical reviews and attend CPAs for community patients Provide medical input to the team as required Attend and chair weekly MDT assessment meetings. Work closely with wider MDT to screen referrals into the service, liaise with referrers and attend and chair weekly team meetings. Attend and chair local MEED expert group meetings and provide advice and consultation to MEED group members and external agencies when required.
Initiate and carry out assessments under the Mental Health Act 1983 when required. Provide professional leadership, including clinical supervision to the CONNECT Community Service.
