This role has been designed to assist the Hotel Management team in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel and a providing a fantastic experience for guests in line with IHG and Chester Race Company brand standards.

**The successful Guest Services Assistant will be responsible for the following**:

- Managing guest check in/ out process, upselling of rewards enrolments
- Ensuring the smooth running of breakfast service
- Booking, altering and cancelling guest reservations
- Dealing with first stage of customer complaints
- Ensure that all public and back of house areas are presentable, well stocked and clean
- Running a night audit, preparing all relevant reports

**The successful Guest Services Assistant will have the following skills / experience**:

- Previous experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to use computers and booking systems
- Commitment to excellent customer experience
- Experience in a hotel role (preferred)
- Experience of bar work (preferred)

**Hours of work**:
Working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern
20:00-08:00

**Salary**:
£22,757 per annum
