**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
- Organise and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update existing records
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Maintain level of office supplies
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Coordinate with other departments
- Maintain working relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Other administrative duties including attending meetings or conferences and taking minutes
- Research potential suppliers and customers

**Essential experience**:

- Computer Literate including MS Office and Microsoft Outlook
- Working in an office and using relevant equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Desirable experience**:

- Communicating with both private and public sector companies
- Use and understanding of social media platforms
- Sending Mail Shots to multiple recipients
- Creating or editing PDF files
- Use of Photoshop, CorelDraw or similar graphics programmes

**Additional requirements**:
You will need to be a committed, hardworking, and loyal individual able to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative. Having a positive attitude, first class attendance and punctuality are a prerequisite. You will work to a very high standard of accuracy and detail and be familiar with working in a fast paced environment and consistently deliver whilst working sometimes under pressures or to time constraints.

Flexibility towards overtime is expected when the work demands. The rate of pay is competitive and dependent upon experience. Visiting clients, visiting our factory in Bolton or attending off site meetings may be required from time to time and therefore a full driving license would be an advantage.
