Payroll Officer/accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage payroll for many limited companies accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with payroll & pension regulations
- Maintain employee records and update changes in payroll system
- File all relevant returns & reports accurately and timely
- Upload pension contributions to the appropriate pension companies
- Data Entry - completion of VAT Returns, reconciling purchase & sales ledgers, reconciling bank accounts
- Admin Duties, recording & logging documents, updating client details on the relevant softwares, etc.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software such as Moneysoft
- Knowledge & experience in accounts job role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

**Please note, payroll experience is essential, accounts assistant experience is desirable**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £11.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.50 per week
