**The role**

The Engagement Coordinator provides exceptional support services as part of the wider People team at Opencast. Working with the Head of Learning and Culture, you’ll coordinate all colleague engagement channels to ensure they are fully optimised and leadto clear actions that are tracked and delivered upon. You’ll organise and drive key initiatives that support a wide variety of engagement activity for people at Opencast.

We’re looking for someone who will bring ideas and drive initiatives to seek new sources of engagement information, ensuring our people are provided with optimal opportunity to provide their input. You’ll work with the data and information you receive tomake recommendations for action and plan for change.

**What you’ll do within our teams**:

- coordinate all engagement activity across the company into one workstream, providing a consolidated view of levels of engagement as a whole
- continuously improve our practices and introduce processes that will improve the way we monitor and enhance the engagement of our people
- collaborate with teams across the business to bring data together, building an up-to-date picture of how our people feel, and track and drive key initiatives
- turn engagement data into compelling stories for our senior leaders
- administer our engagement platform to monitor inputs from our people
- schedule and coordinate quarterly surveys
- work with the Internal Communications Manager to promote activities within the company
- provide administrative support to working groups on topics including charity, inclusion, health and wellbeing
- monitor requests for volunteering and matched fundraising requests
- administer our voucher distribution account for reward and recognition.

**You’ll suit this role if you**:

- have previous experience working in a people or engagement role
- are highly organised and have experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- are proactive in getting things done and working independently when needed
- have a passion for listening to what people have to say
- have great attention to detail
- are adaptable and inclusive in your approach
- genuinely love working with people.

**Bonus nice-to-haves**:

- CIPD or people-focused qualification
- coaching qualifications or experience working in a coaching culture
- experience working with people data.
