**About the role**:
**We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced User Researcher **to work across a broad range of research projects including Retail, FMCG, Financial Services, Public Sector and Healthcare. Our projects are tailored to our clients’ needs and objectives, so you’ll be working on several different types each month. **As a User Researcher, you’ll be planning, running, analysing and reporting on research studies across a variety of user research methodologies including usability testing, face to face interviews, focus groups, surveys, card sorts and ethnography.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading project kick-off calls & managing project delivery, communicating directly with the client
- Planning, scripting and conducting user research
- Moderation / facilitation of qualitative research
- Research study analysis & report delivery
- Working collaboratively with internal and client project teams to run research as part of agile sprints, including other researchers, participant recruitment, user experience (UX) design and product delivery
- Advising and coaching junior researchers

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years commercial experience in a user research role, ideally with experience running digital research projects.
- Confidence to be self sufficient on a research project as well as work effectively and collaboratively as part of a small team
- Previous experience of planning, scripting and conducting user research is essential.
- Strong facilitation & moderation skills with experience of qualitative research methodologies such as in-depth interviews and usability testing.
- Knowledge and experience of running remote moderated and remote unmoderated user research.
- Knowledge and experience of running user research face to face.
- A talent for translating research findings and metrics to actionable insight through recommendations to inform UX design or business strategy.
- Excellent written and communication skills.

**Vetting**

Due to the nature of this role and the business, you will need to either currently hold UK Government clearance to a minimum of SC level or be able to undergo and maintain this level of clearance.
