**Job Description**:
**2 roles, 1x Eastern Surrey and 1x Western Surrey**
We have 2 exciting opportunities to join Catch22 as Senior Substance Misuse School Link Practitioner, in newly-created roles. You will be working in close partnership with Surrey Healthy Schools, with a mission to promote healthy behaviours and support schools in responding to substance misuse concerns/incidents that occur within their student population.
You'll complement existing services working to support a Surrey Healthy Schools approach, offering an initial triage service and assessment for young people referred up to the age of 18 years, either through direct contact with children and young people, or with professionals, parents, and carers.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
- NVQ3 Health & Social Care or equivalent / appropriate qualification including relevant professional qualifications in substance misuse, youth work studies, counselling qualification / criminal justice.
- Specialist knowledge of Alcohol/Substance misuse, and the associated risks and effects.
- An ability to engage and build effecitve working relationships with a range of different partners and stakeholders
- Experience in delivering service presentations and training to professionals and partners
Additional Information
- ** Hours of Work**:37 hours per week
- ** Salary**:Up to £30,000, depending on experience
- ** Contract**:Permanent
- ** Level of Disclosure & Barring Service check required**:Enhanced DBS
- ** Location**:These roles will be based in our Leatherhead office, and will involve regular travel across your allocated region (East or West Surrey)
This role can involve regular travel across Surrey, **you will therefore need to have use of a vehicle**, with an up-to-date driving licence, MOT and Business Insurance.
Typical working hours are 9-5, Mon-Fri, but occasional out of hours working may be required, including occasional weekends and some evenings when necessary, in order to meet the needs of the client group.
