Job Title: Senior Substance Misuse School Link Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Substance Misuse School Link Practitioner to join our team at Catch22. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting schools across the region to develop policies, procedures, and training related to substance misuse.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and deliver training for education staff on substance misuse awareness and prevention.
  • Provide targeted support to parents and carers of children with substance misuse concerns.
  • Collaborate with local schools and agencies to deliver a holistic package of care for children and young people.
  • Offer initial triage and assessment for students with substance misuse concerns and refer them to our substance misuse service as needed.
  • Provide specialist harm reduction advice and information to parents and carers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data recording and reporting.

**Requirements:**

  • NVQ3 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Specialist knowledge of alcohol and substance misuse.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with schools, parents, and carers.
  • Experience in delivering training and presentations to professionals.

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive salary of up to £28,598 (pro rata) depending on experience.
  • A fixed-term contract until March 2025.
