Nuclear Medicine is a Pan-Trust clinic diagnostic service covering routine and complex diagnostic procedures (imaging and non-imaging) as well as radionuclide therapeutic treatments. There is also a Pan-Trust Radiopharmacy producing products under a specials licence from Medicines and Healthcare products regulatory Agency (MHRA).

**The main purpose of the job would be**:

- To provide patient care and support in relevant areas of the nuclear medicine department including interviewing, imaging and conveying information to patients.
- Ensure that all patients are appropriately prepared and ready for imaging procedures.
- Assist Technologists and Nursing Staff including use of the computerised radiography system (CRIS) to deliver Nuclear Medicine.
- There may be occasion to be involved in the radiopharmacy when demand requires.

To assist in the supervision of patients and to deal with other health workers and members of the public in a caring, pleasant and effective manner.
