Contribute to the review and updating of hospice competencies Update self on a regular basis regarding any changes in assessment practices and cascade all information to relevant colleagues/volunteers to maintain standards and quality of assessments Participate in evaluation and audit in order to monitor effectiveness and impact of learning on practice Support teaching and training in a range of health care settings (Community, Nursing Homes, Care Homes, GP Practices, other Charity settings including Hospices) to promote high quality, personalised care associated with palliative and end of life care needs as appropriate To support education programmes for undergraduate medical, nursing and AHP students
