Requirement to cover for maternity leave,

Carer/ companion for 26 year old female with Special Needs

Located in Garstang area of North Preston.

21 hours variable per week and extra to cover for sickness and or holidays when required.

Normal hours Monday to Friday.

Own transport required, mileage paid.

Excellent references essential due to personal nature of position.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Duties**:

- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status.
- Responding to emergency situations.
- Accompanying and transporting to appointments and/or social events
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities.

To assist in the development of life skills.

Flexible Working Options Available:

- Part-time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£9.50 per hour
