You will lead a highly complex organisational change programme to implement a consolidated clinical educator service, providing ongoing leadership and management for the clinical educator service using highly effective communication and engagement mechanisms.

You will also be responsible for the management of budgets and procurement associated with the clinical educator service delivering cost efficiencies wherever possible. You will develop, maintain and lead the clinical educator network meetings to ensure the service offers maximum flexibility to enable a comprehensive and responsive service across the Trust.

You will ensure the delivery of high-quality practice-based education/training. Assume responsibility as FFP3 Resilience Lead and manage mask-fitting services ensuring the Trust meets the FFP3 resilience mandate. You will also drive developments and deliverables associated with Always Safety First ensuring the clinical educator service supports and enables the delivery of safe, effective patient care.

Finally, you will ensure robust implementation of development/competency pathways (e.g. Critical Care Network: Step Competency Framework and Emergency Care Association: National Curriculum and Competency Framework Emergency Nursing, Level 1 and 2) across clinical departments and take a lead role in embedding the importance of these as a key initiative to benefit staff development and patient safety.

**You will**:
Spearhead the implementation of a consolidated clinical educator service, ensuring a smooth transition with effective handover processes.

Drive the continuous improvement of the service, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide ongoing leadership and guidance to the team, fostering collaboration and engagement through strong communication.

Manage the budget and procurement strategically, maximising cost-efficiency without compromising quality.

Develop, maintain, and lead the clinical educator network, facilitating knowledge sharing and professional development.

Collaborate with Lead/Specialist Clinical Educators to optimise resource allocation and ensure the service offers maximum flexibility and responsiveness across the Trust.

Champion the delivery of high-quality, practice-based education/training, ensuring programmes are clinically-focused and support departmental development pathways.

Provide professional leadership and guidance to the Clinical Practice Educators, empowering them to develop, support, and assess staff competency in delivering compassionate and excellent care.

Lead the FFP3 Resilience Programme and manage mask-fitting services, ensuring compliance and staff well-being.

Contribute to the delivery of flu vaccinations by supporting the Associate Director of Workforce.

Manage bank staff requirements for the flu vaccination service during off-peak hours.

Champion Always Safety First initiatives, integrating the clinical educator service into safe and effective patient care.

Lead by example and promote high standards in clinical education within the organisation.
