**The Job**

The Conduit is seeking a driven and visionary Publisher to lead the commercialisation of our editorial products. These include newsletters, podcasts, and other digital media assets, reaching an audience of hundreds of thousands of changemakers, entreprenuers, investors and activists. The Publisher will play a pivotal role in shaping the revenue strategy and driving growth for these products and the company.

Key responsibilities:

- **Commercial Strategy**: Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to monetize The Conduit's editorial products. This includes identifying revenue streams, setting pricing strategies, and building partnerships to maximize profitability.
- **Sales and Partnerships**: Lead the sales efforts to secure advertising, sponsorship, and partnership deals for our editorial products. Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and sponsors to drive revenue growth.
- **Product Development**: Collaborate with the editorial team to develop new products and formats that align with market demands and advertiser interests.
- **Audience Growth**: Work closely with performance marketing to drive audience growth and engagement across all editorial products. Leverage data analytics and audience insights to identify opportunities and optimize revenue generation.
- **Financial Management**: Manage the commercial budget effectively, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded while maintaining profitability. Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- **Market Research and Trends**: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the digital media landscape. Utilize market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and maintain The Conduit's competitive edge.
- **Brand Guardian**:Defend The Conduit’s unique tone of voice and editorial independence as the brand builds its authority in the market.

**Your Experience**:

- Proven experience in building and monetizing digital media businesses in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, sponsorship, and partnership models, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively to advertisers and partners.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for social impact and innovation.
- Well-established network of contacts within leading public and private sector organisations committed to social impact.
- Knowledge of The Conduit's mission values.
- Proven ability to sell to C-suite.
- Ability to manage and prioritise challenging workloads.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional office hours: early mornings, evenings and occasionally on weekends.
