We are looking for an Asset Administrator to join our central function team at our head office based in Needham Market, Suffolk. The role is 30 hours per week. A working pattern is negotiable but a Friday must be covered.

The role is office based with requirements to travel where necessary. The role reports to the Asset Managers but requires regular interactions with company Directors, Senior and Contract Managers, field based tree cutting staff, sub-contractors, external service agents and technical support agents.

**Job purpose**:
To protect the equipment and vehicle assets of the BTS Group Ltd. To maintain and keep records of vehicles and equipment up to date. To help oversee and operate as a reminder to Managers for maintenance and servicing of BTS assets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain an asset register for individuals, vehicles and depots that identifies equipment issued by date, description and value.
- Maintain the Vehicle Management systems and records with data inputting enabling a service schedule to remain up to date.
- Ensuring all vehicles in use are taxed and road legal.
- Processing of invoices received and cost centered accordingly.
- Responsible for the order and issue of fuel cards for all BTS/TBF vehicles.
- Responsible for the order and fitting of Wi-Fi hub/trackers to company assets.
- Managing our insurance policy to include reporting and resolving insurance claims.
- Help with vehicle movements within BTS and to and from repair agents.
- Accurately maintain the existing equipment inspection database with information provided by the inspector where required.
- Prepare vehicle/equipment ready for issue to staff as required.
- Prepare vehicle/equipment for sale to third parties including documentation and legal requirements.
- To assist in overviewing of Company asset utilisation to ensure that the asset is in the prime position for maximum utilisation.

- Vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Industry knowledge of Arboriculture

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
