**Administration Assistant**
- Based in our Ipswich office, The Administration Hub for Gallagher Bassett is responsible for all post, and documents that come in to the organisation. The purpose of the Administration Assistant role is to ensure the smooth running of claims administration whilst working under the direction of the Administration Team Leader._

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Open and sort incoming mail
- Prepare and frank outgoing mail
- Filing of claims folders
- Complete and submit paperwork and correspondence accurately
- Record claims accurately using company software within product standards, and close as directed
- Acknowledge claims to clients
- Issue standard letters as directed
- Assist in diary process
- Answer and distribute incoming phone calls
- Assist in general office administration (e.g. post, printing, order supplies, maintaining equipment) to ensure smooth running of office
- Comply with all Gallagher Bassett and office procedures
- Actively participate in the Gallagher Bassett training programme.

**Essential Skills**:

- Proficient computer skills, ideally in MS Office
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Attention to detail, accuracy and effective organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Effective time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Adherence to File Management best practices
- Self-motivated
- Highly adaptable and able to use initiative
