My client is an established and growing family business within the transport sector.
Due to ongoing development their require an experienced administrator to join the team and support the operations manager. This is a full time role with opportunity to develop your skills covering all areas of operations and customer service.
Responsibilities will include:
- General administrative duties which contribute to supporting the operations team.
- Providing support to the transport teams including routing and compliance files
- Dealing with telephone queries from customers and suppliers - answer incoming calls.
- Assist with all day to day business administration.
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
Essential Skills / Experience required:
- Previous experience of a busy administration role
- Good working of knowledge of Microsoft office and a good level of IT literacy
Desired Experience:
- experience gained within the logistics / transport or shipping industries.
The role is a full time, permanent role based on-site at their site on the outskirts of Ipswich
