**Head of Advice Support - PRIMIS Mortgage Network**
Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 950 firms as business partners and approaching 3000 advisors working alongside us.
We are keen to recruit a
**Head of Advice Support** (reporting to our Customer Outcomes Director) to join our large and highly experienced Compliance and Risk team.
The role will be based partially out of either our
**site on the Birmingham Business Park in Solihull or the Methuen Business Park in Chippenham with regular travel to both sites. **We are more than happy with a combination of
**Office and Home Working (hybrid).**
**Role Purpose**
To lead the 20+ strong Quality Review team - ensuring that timely and high-quality file reviews are delivered to our AR and DA customers alongside supporting the Customer Outcomes Director in the delivery of an efficient and effective risk-based framework for the assessment of the suitability of advice and quality of file records provided by AR firm’s Advisers.
The role also includes the management of the provision of file checking services to Directly Authorised mortgage and protection firms in the TMA Mortgage Club.
**Main Accountabilities**
- Day to day people management of the team, ensuring team and personal objectives are carried out in accordance with documented procedures, in line with business demand, and within service level agreements.
- Design and manage monitoring programmes that encourage a culture of placing the customers’ best interests at the heart of each AR Firms business model
- To lead the management and monitoring of pipeline of cases assessments across multiple sites and checking teams - ensuring timely case reviews in accordance with business, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Ensuring that the case checking outputs are of a consistent high quality, including via ensuring a suitable level of Quality Checking has been undertaken.
- Identify areas of training and development for staff, formulating effective solutions through instruction, coaching, feedback and monitoring the team, with the purpose of increasing individual and organisational performance.
- To work using own initiative, utilising a solution focused approach
- Responsibility, control and oversight of Advice Quality Standards/guidance and associated documentation.
- Delivery of accurate and effective reporting in order to identify potential risks, with appropriate oversight and control of remedial actions through agreed reporting systems.
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similarly senior financial services managerial role - including roles which include technical and pipeline/ operational management.
- Ability to interact positively with Senior Management, staff and advisers.
- Detailed knowledge of the key areas of Mortgages, Protection, Equity Release, Private Medical Insurance and Home Insurance
- Ability to work both independently and in a group setting, to work confidently and comfortably in a highly collaborative way.
- Strong IT skills, Microsoft Office to include PowerPoint and excel.
- Demonstrable management skills
- Proven track record of developing and leading teams to meet business needs.
- Full CeMap or Equivalent alongside the Equity Release qualification
**Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE and negotiable**
