Milestone Infrastructure Ltd are currently looking to recruit an Insurance Claims Administrator, working 40 hours per week, to assist the central insurance claims handling team who are responsible for defending claims against Milestone and maximising recovery of damaged assets through ‘green’ claims. Client visits weekly within Cambridgeshire, Central Bedfordshire and Peterborough with the opportunity for some home working.
As the Insurance Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for the recovery of costs to both Milestone and our clients assets, while reporting to the Insurance Claims Manager. As an integral part of the Insurance Team for Milestone you will have the opportunity to develop and grow with the business. Our team is expanding due to recent new contract wins in Central Bedfordshire and Suffolk presenting more opportunities within our ever growing business.
**Your duties & responsibilities will include**:
- Providing full admin support to the claims Manager and claims handling team
- Liaising with insurers & loss adjusters to recover damage costs
- Administering the green claim process start to finish
- Collating damage information from various sources both internally and externally
- Creating a full claims file for each incident to present to the insurance for the recovery of costs
- Creating cost breakdowns for the recovery of claims
- Effective and professional communication with all clients and members of the public to obtain all relevant information to assist with claims recovery
- Maintaining and managing your case load in respect of claims recovery
- Electronic and manual filing
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Maintaining information on the claims databases for multiple clients
- Assisting the Claims Manager with claims reporting
- All tasks associated with claims recovery
**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Travel to client sites weekly so driving license and car is essential
- Good IT skills
- A keen eye for attention to detail is essential
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Proactive, confident and self motivated
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good analytical skills and problem solving
