Logistics Administrator

**What’s involved**:
- Manage delivery of imported products from countries across the globe, into stock and directly to customers nationwide
- Deal with all import logistics and administration for each delivery, including use of shipper portals and customs clearance
- Manage time critical tasks whilst maintaining a high level of service
- Liaising with the sales, purchasing, warehouse and transport teams
- Keep supplier/product data current and share with customers as needed
- Maintain good relationships with warehouse and import transport partners to meet the needs of the business
- Various admin to support purchasing and logistics teams
**What we’re looking for**:
- You will need at least 3 years experience of logistics, ideally including imports
- Experience of sea freight an advantage
- Attention to detail is critical
- You’ll be comfortable working under your own initiative, as well as managing a number of different tasks simultaneously
- You’ll need to be able to proactively manage, prioritise and problem solve confidently
- And be a highly organised team player
- Proficiency in Excel is essential
This role is permanent, full time, office based in Newport and we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible
Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
