**Mission of the position**:
**Job Summary**

The Logistics Line Assistant will be responsible for walking the production lines (sometimes with production administrators) and checking and reviewing of all materials. PDA scanning missing items where and when required Evaluating and scanning bigger items that cannot be stored on the line itself, in line with Takt time and the production plan, ensures no stoppages in production. Raising and reporting of key KPI measures to the management team.

Arranging two meetings per week with the production administrator: during the meeting, inspect the production line, locate materials, prepare the assembly line layout, and discuss any issues with QR codes.

Daily meeting with the warehouse team leader and conditioning lead. The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss any issues relating to the incorrect conditioning or location of materials from the previous meeting and or any changes or improvements made related to the conditioning or location of parts.

Supporting the Warehouse Team Leader in the smooth running of the warehouse ensuring parts are received in a timely manner through to picking for production. Awareness and adherence to the company Health and Safety polices. Ensuring stock accuracy and material transactions are completed.

**Function and responsibilities**:

- Revise and update. Bann the stock of critical materials.
- Liaise with activation on delivery dates of materials.
- Liaise with the warehouse on organizing urgent material to be delivered to the production line.
- Working along side the Production Administrators to insure line sequencing is correct and adhered to
- Liaise with the warehouse on organising urgent material to be delivered to units offline (TEST).
- Check and review mismatches between material requests recorded on Baan (read by PDA) and physical requests on the production line (magnet system).
- Manage material placement for all the items that need to be checked by quality.

**Function and Responsiblities**:

- Weekly meeting with the activator of the project and production managers, discussing any critical material that could affect line movement, material layout, and continuous improvement ideas.
- Plan Two meetings per week with the administrator: during the meeting, inspect the production line, locate materials, prepare the assembly layout, and discuss any issues with QR codes meetings to documented.

- Generating of daily KPI Reports and reporting out to the business.
- Ensure consistent standards of stock accuracy is met and maintained.
- Support organising and participate in stock takes at regular intervals.
- Ensure accurate NCR data and support the NCR process.
- To lead the team in the absence of the team leader.
- Working closely with planning, Production and KUK Warehouse to plan for kitting.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
IOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Current First Aid at Work qualification.

You will have good team working skills with the ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively and have the desire to develop existing skills and acquire new technical competencies to enhance personal and team capability.
