An exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen to join our Education, Culture and OD Team as our Diversity and Inclusion Officer. This role reports to our D&I Lead and supports the continued implementation of a number of key projects that support the trusts on-going commitment to improving inclusion.

We are looking for someone with a strong administrative experience and a sound understanding of current issues relating to inclusion and diversity within the workplace.

You will be proactive individual with strong analytical skills, confident in interpreting data, and able to work across several projects simultaneously. You’ll also have great communication, planning and organisational skills.

You will need to be able to understand, balance and respond to the differing needs of our stakeholder groups, and build and maintain positive working relationships with staff across the organisation.

The post holder will support the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Lead and overall D&I agenda. This includes supporting the delivery of the D&I action plan and priority workstreams for the service. The post holder will provide regular reports and intelligence to enable the service to monitor progress and ensure on-going delivery of improvements. This includes assisting with Workforce Race Equality and Workforce Disability Equality Standards Reports, Gender Pay Gap Reports and our Annual Equality Report. Supporting the planning, management and delivery of the above reports, the post holder will work collaboratively with key stakeholders including our Staff Networks.

The post holder will provide senior administrative support and co-ordination to the service whilst working across the organisation to increase awareness of the D&I function, drive engagement and actively promote inclusive practices and behaviours.
