Uplifted Recruitment is working with an international law firm to help them find their next Head of Diversity and Inclusion. This is a vital role in leading the implementation of the firm's inclusion strategy encompassing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing for the UK partnership. The role will require extensive experience working in DEI within professional services, strong leadership and advocacy skills with the ability to work at the Board level. You will also coach a small team who are well established within the organisation. The role can be based in London or Birmingham on a hybrid basis. If based in London, you will be required to travel to the Birmingham office twice a week.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Developing the firm’s DEI & Wellbeing strategies, aligning with business strategy, ensuring they are embedded as part of business as usual and they continue to build an inclusive culture.
- Working with HR colleagues to ensure DEI and wellbeing are seamlessly embedded across the full employee lifecycle.
- Ensure DEI & Wellbeing are seen as a key part of our wider Engagement strategy, creating a positive employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with counterparts in other offices.
- Work proactively with key clients and prospects to ensure they fully understand our Inclusion credentials and values. Help build stronger and more effective client relationships through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Track the effectiveness and impact of DEI solutions and provide meaningful data to key internal stakeholders, to create insight and to influence opinion.
- Be a visible representative of the firm's commitment to DEI & Wellbeing, both internally and externally, finding meaningful ways to promote the firm's progress (such as external awards and standards).
- Build strong and effective relationships with key internal stakeholder groups and employee networks, influencing positive change and continued progress.
- Identify training and education needs to support the firm's DEI and Wellbeing agendas and work alongside the Head of Learning and Development.
- Operating as a role model and influencer of change initiatives inspiring others to make positive change.
- Oversee the operations and review the impact of the firm's employee networks and develop with them their business plans.
- Promote the firm's DEI credentials to clients and third parties (including public speaking, acting as an expert panel member, and use of social media) including the press.
- Engage with key suppliers to identify opportunities for collaboration and ensuring suppliers follow the firm's DEI related policies and practices.

The position can be based in London or Birmingham on a hybrid working basis. If based in London, you will be required to commute to the Birmingham office at least twice a week.

**Salary**: £100,000.00-£125,000.00 per year
