The role:

You’ll manage food safety and quality standards and ensure policies and procedures are effectively updated and implemented
Management and development of the site quality systems including BRC and retailer standards and lead auditing of sites to ensure compliance.
In addition you will work closely with site technical teams on a group basis to communicate standards and ensure compliance.
At the heart of this role will be your capability to work across departments to encourage active participation and ownership of projects and improvement activity. You will also have an in depth involvement in training.

Your experience:

We are seeking an individual with excellent systems knowledge including BRC, HACCP and retailer standards as well as current legislation.
You must be able to question and challenge existing systems and influence and implement change. 
Experience within a high risk/chilled food manufacturing environment would be advantageous but your systems knowledge will be the most important factor.
The role will involve some planned travel therefore a current driving license is essential
