Area Sales Manager (Golf & Turf Machinery)

Role Overview

In response to the growth of our Golf & Turf sector, we are seeking a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to operate from our Newark or Ashbourne depot, focusing on the professional turf industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, manage, and enhance sales performance utilizing our CRM tool (MS Dynamics).
  • Meet sales objectives set by the Golf & Turf Business Director, including sales volumes, gross profit, and sales mix.
  • Maintain high standards of customer and company relations at all times.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the professional groundcare machinery sector along with prior sales experience. However, we are open to considering applicants with relevant expertise from other fields, such as the golf industry with familiarity with associated machinery.

Essential Skills:

  • A valid driving license is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of groundcare machinery is crucial.
  • Prior experience in a John Deere or similar agricultural/groundcare machinery dealership is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with the geographical area of responsibility is advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
