About the Assistant Culinary Manager Position

Key responsibilities include:


* Crafting dishes that are visually appealing and meet our high standards.
* Demonstrating your enthusiasm and expertise in food through your work.
* Focusing on the continuous training and development of your kitchen staff.
* Implementing sustainable growth plans to encourage internal advancement.
* Supporting the Head Chef in fostering the brand's culture within the establishment.
* Working in a dynamic yet relaxed environment, emphasizing quality in coffee, fresh cuisine, cocktails, and exceptional service.
* Complying with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Overseeing kitchen operations and maintenance.


WORKING HOURS: Flexible full-time or part-time hours, with only two late evenings required weekly and availability for Sunday afternoon stocktakes preferred.
SALARY: Up to £32,000.


What You Will Bring to the Assistant Culinary Manager Role:
* A minimum of one year’s experience in a culinary role or similar.
* Level 2 or 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certifications or equivalent.
* A passionate, diligent, and approachable demeanor.
* Flexibility in work hours.
* Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Effective time management abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
