About the role

We are looking for a skilled and energetic IT Trainer with expertise in Service Desk operations and a deep understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices. In this role you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and overseeing technical training programs tailored for service desk agents. This role encompasses a range of technologies, including private and public cloud platforms, collaboration tools, networking, and ITIL-based service management processes. Additionally, you will facilitate hands-on learning through classroom instruction and practical troubleshooting exercises.

What will you bring?

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT support processes, service desk operations, and related technologies.

Training Experience: Proven experience in delivering IT training, preferably within a service desk or IT support environment.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.

Adaptability : Ability to tailor training approaches to different learning styles and levels of technical expertise.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing training needs

Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application in a service desk environment.

Proficiency in cloud technologies (Private and Public Cloud)

Familiarity with collaboration platform

Networking knowledge (routing, switching, basic network troubleshooting)

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Ability to design and deliver engaging technical and ITIL-based training programs.

Real-world troubleshooting experience in a service desk environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Teaching qualification or Train the trainer certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • ITIL Foundation certification. Certifications in cloud services (M365, Azure) and are a plus
