With an impending election on the horizon, many of us were waiting for a significant number of rabbits to be pulled from the Chancellor’s hat. But as it turned out, there was really nothing more to add. There were no rabbits in the headlines. But the truth for most businesses, is that a couple of rabbits were never going to make much difference anyway…

On 6th March 2024, Chancellor Jeremy Hunt outlined his Spring Budget. Here are the headline announcements that will affect businesses and individuals; the key tax cuts, reliefs and increases.

There are some big changes to UK company law taking effect from 4th March 2024 which will effect Company Directors, People with Significant Control of a Company and Anyone Filing on Behalf of a Company. Here is a summary of the main changes and what they mean. If you have a question about any of these changes, contact our Uncommon Accountants.

The Uncommon Practice is the trading name of The Uncommon Journey Ltd, a limited company registered in England & Wales. Company registration number: 13453159. Registered office address: Unit 2G, Redwither Tower, Redwither Business Park, Wrexham, Wales, LL13 9XT.
