Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all employees comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, providing necessary training.
Safety Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety through interaction, training, and informational sessions (e.g., Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and site inspections, identifying potential hazards and reducing risks.
Regulatory Updates: Emergency Response: Oversee First Aider and Fire Marshall duties.
Health & Safety Reporting: Produce reports on health and safety statistics, KPIs, and trends for communication with the senior leadership team and employees.
Contractor Management: Manage health, safety, and environmental responsibilities for the control of contractors.
Training: Develop and deliver in-house health and safety training programs.
Audit Management: Oversee the internal Health and Safety audit schedule.
Chair monthly and quarterly health and safety meetings.
Identify and present health and safety threats and issues to the senior team.
Proven experience in health and safety management.
Ideally hold a NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (or equivalent).
Possess IOSH Managing Safety Certificates.
Proficient in producing reports and analysing data.
