Logistics Administrator

Location: Surbiton

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: GBP27K

My client is currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to support their Packing and Logistics team, ensuring the seamless dispatch of projects and or installations. This role is ideal for someone who is collaborative, organised, and possesses exceptional people skills.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Support the running of storage facilities, providing diligent, effective, and efficient support for all storage needs across departments.
  • Assist the Packing and Logistics Manager with administrative tasks, including weekly timesheets and ad hoc duties.
  • Manage the storage database and act as the main point of contact between Logistics, Warehousing, and the Project Team.
  • Ensure an efficient, streamlined storage workflow.
  • Handle communication regarding storage transactions and manage the storage calendar for future scheduling.
  • Liaise with the Project Team to ensure items in temporary storage are shipped or disposed of appropriately.
  • Assist with the scheduling of logistics, including in-house drivers, vehicles, and external couriers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience in logistics and warehouse management is desirable.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate instructions clearly.
  • Flexibility and willingness to support the team in various tasks.
  • A quick learner with a positive approach.
