We are now recruiting for an HR Operations Manager to provide hands-on day-to-day management of HR operations and developing an excellent HR service across all departments.

In addition to this, as our HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Manage the day-to-day function of HR Operations spanning the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, personal development, payroll, and offboarding.
  2. Ensuring MML's HR policies and procedures are effective and comply with legal requirements.
  3. Manage the HR system (Cascade), ensuring employee records are accurate.
  4. Ensure HR reports and workflows are functional to support the management of HR processes and procedures.
  5. Lead and advise on complex ER casework.
  6. Monitor and report on key HR metrics including attrition, absence, recruitment, and undertaking data analysis.
  7. Manage and maintain an efficient, fair, and effective hiring process.
  8. Support line managers across the business to be competent and confident in people management.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

  1. Proven experience in HR at a management level alongside an excellent knowledge of employment law.
  2. Proven experience as an HR generalist.
  3. Experience of dealing with a wide range of complex ER cases.
  4. Experience of recruitment and onboarding, managing HR and ATS systems.
  5. Experience in compiling HR statistics and data.
  6. Qualification CIPD Level 5 or above.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Excellent attention to detail.

It would be great if you had experience with training, coaching, or mentoring a small team, but this is not essential.
