UK Business Development Manager - Lighting and LED solutions


Location - Within an hour of Portsmouth ideally



Package: £45-50k basic + 25% bonus+ Hybrid Company Car



Business Development Manager role selling a range of specialist lighting including lamps, torches, tripods, battery generators & floodlights. Targeting builders' merchants, Hire Companies, Construction Contractors and Utilities. Some of this will be targeting regional contacts and other will be working at head office buyer level. The successful candidate will split their time between new business and account management. Covering a national remit, you will be required to be in the Portsmouth office 1 days per week and typically out in field for 3 days seeing customers.



The Company: Established for 35 years, our client puts their success and continued expansion down to their diverse customer base and growing product range. Constantly evolving to meet their client's needs, they manufacture a range of LED lighting solutions such as lamps, torches, hazard and floodlights used across railways, military, industrial and emergency services, also selling into DIY and retail stores.



For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:


· Strong B2B sales background in product sales

· Experience selling products into hire companies, utilities or rail sector

· OR could have worked in field sales for a builder's merchants or sold to a builder's merchants

· Clean driving licence and happy with 1-2 nights away per week

· Strong new business focus
