About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial and Sales Director to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our South Management Team, you will be responsible for providing full commercial support to the Regional Director and General Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Manage and oversee the sales team, ensuring they meet sales targets and objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination and execution of commercial activities
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other business partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Commercial Manager or Sales Manager
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on market insights
  • Knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
