Business Development Manager

Job Overview
The Stepstone Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Sales department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships to drive sales growth and increase market share.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through referrals, networking, and marketing strategies to identify new business opportunities.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals tailored to client needs and preferences to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Sales Execution: Close new business opportunities with key clients and SMEs, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to renewal, delivering presentations and solutions at client meetings, and building strategic partnerships.
- Performance Analysis and Strategy: Utilize Salesforce to accurately forecast sales performance, track and evaluate client metrics, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in acquiring new business and cultivating and expanding an account base to drive sales growth.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and KPIs through strategic planning and execution.
- Exceptional skills in managing and nurturing client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software to effectively manage client interactions and track progress.
- Ability to adapt to changes within the business in an evolving market landscape, and a solution-oriented mindset to navigate challenges effectively.
